Greetings:

For many months, I have written to you asking for volunteers.  Volunteer for this, volunteer for that, I have been suggesting.  Well, this month I am writing to say Thanks!

THANKS! to the PAF Hillsborough County Chapter Board members who give their time to make the organization a success.  THANKS! to the many members who are not able to serve on the Board, but give their time on an as needed basis.

THANKS! to Kim Turilli, FRP of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP for attending the August Board of Director's meeting.  I hope that Kim will share her experience and encourage other members to attend future Board of Director's meetings.

THANKS! to those who came forward and volunteered their time to perform the annual audit.  A special thanks to Nancy Akins, Kim Turilli, and Teresa Stenner-Jones who served as the 2010-2011 Audit Committee and performed the audit in record time.  Thank you to Gilda Pines, Chapter Treasurer, who delivered the audit materials in good order to accommodate the time crunch under which the audit was performed.

THANKS! to those who have volunteered to take part in the planning of the PAF Spring 2012 seminar.  Although it is only September, the Seminar Committee is in full swing planning the Spring 2012 seminar that is being hosted by the Hillsborough County Chapter in May 2012.  The Spring 2012 seminar will be a 2-day seminar, which will draw paralegals from around the state, provide approximately 10 CLE hours, including networking events as well as time to visit with vendors.  The Spring 2012 seminar will close with the PAF Annual Meeting.  There will be group events as well as time to visit with vendors.  There is always room for more volunteers, so if you would like to volunteer to help plan/organize the Spring 2012 seminar, please contact Darlene Raudabaugh at  darlener@fowlerwhite.com. 

I look forward to seeing each of you on September 13, 2011 at our luncheon.  As always, for those of you up for the challenge of sharing your ideas, we would love to see you at our Board of Directors meeting on September 14, 2011.
